Our law firm was established originally three decades ago by lawyer, writer, doctor and emeritus professor Francisco Villarroel, and is nowadays as Legal Maritime Group (LMG Venezuela) one of the most important specialized maritime and commercial law office based in Caracas.
Meet The Team
Our law firm Legal Maritime Group is made up of Emeritus Superior Maritime National Judges Freddy Belisario, who earned a Master of Law in maritime law from Tulane University, and Francisco Villarroel, who earned a DESS in maritime law from the University of Aix-en-Provence and a Master of Law in maritime law from the IMLI Maritime Law Institute in Malta, both Doctors and Emeritus Professors from the Caribbean Maritime University, Past Presidents of the Venezuelan Maritime Law Association and Titulary Members of the Comité Maritime International.
Also part of our team are the renowned lawyers Anna Karina Leiva, with a Master of Law in maritime law from the Caribbean Maritime University and marine insurance studies in London, Álvaro Cardenas with a Master of Law in maritime law from the Caribbean Maritime University, and Eduardo Díaz with marine insurance studies in London.
